globainsight and Microsoft Announce Teams Integration for AI-Driven Meeting Insights
globainsight and Microsoft today announced a new integration that embeds globainsight consumer insights directly into Microsoft Teams, enabling marketing, product, and strategy teams to access live consumer data during meetings without switching applications. The integration surfaces relevant consumer insights, trend charts, and competitive intelligence based on meeting context, calendar topics, and participant roles.
The Teams integration uses Microsoft's Copilot extensibility framework to connect globainsight's AI Analytics engine with the meeting environment. When a marketing team discusses 'Q3 campaign performance' in a Teams meeting, the globainsight integration can surface real-time brand tracker data, campaign effectiveness scores, and competitive benchmarks — all within the meeting window.
'Meetings are where decisions get made, but the data needed to make those decisions usually lives in a dozen different dashboards, spreadsheets, and platforms,' said Sara Ahmed, VP of Product at globainsight. 'By bringing consumer intelligence directly into the collaboration environment where decisions happen, we're closing the gap between insight and action.'
Early pilot users include a Fortune 100 CPG company that reported a 28% reduction in follow-up meetings and a 45% improvement in 'decisions made with data' after deploying the Teams integration across their marketing organisation. The integration will be generally available in June 2026 for customers with both globainsight and Microsoft 365 subscriptions.
